Maximising your video content
How to Use Your Files
The files provided are "Master Reels." This means I have provided the best shots in a continuous flow, sometimes including several angles of the same scene so you can choose your favourite. Don't post the whole file: These clips are designed to be cut down into multiple smaller videos. I recommend using the Instagram edits app to do this. They allow you to easily trim the clips and sync them to your preferred music. You can then export the clips in 4K resolution ready to share on any platform you wish.
Transferring for Maximum Quality
Sending videos through messaging apps (WhatsApp / iMessage) crushes the file size and destroys the detail in your videos. Do not do this!
iPhone Users: Use AirDrop from a Mac or another iPhone.
Android/PC Users: Download the files directly to your device from the Wetransfer link provided. Ensure you click "Download" and wait for the full file to save to your gallery.
The "Hidden" Instagram Setting
Instagram often defaults to a lower upload quality to save data. You must turn this off to see the full detail of your videos:
1. Open Instagram and go to your Profile.
2. Tap the Three Lines (Menu) in the top right.
3. Go to Settings and Privacy → Data Usage and Media Quality.
4. Switch "Upload at Highest Quality" to ON.
Final Posting Tips
Use Wi-Fi: Only upload when you have a strong Wi-Fi connection.
Avoid Screen Recording: Never screen-record the video to post it; this significantly degrades the resolution and frame rate. This will negatively impact your reach.
